Karen E. Rule, OD
Dr. Karen Rule graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington. She continued her education at Penn State University where she received her bachelor’s of science in biology. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and received her doctorate in optometry. After finishing internships at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia and The Cleveland Clinic in Ft. Lauderdale, she joined Shillington Eye Associates in 2005.
She has served the as President of the Berks County Optometric Society. Other memberships include the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa, an optometric honor fraternity. Karen also serves on the board of directors for Vision Benefits of America, and the Governor Mifflin Education Foundation.
She resides in Shillington, where she enjoys spending her spare time running and biking.
